Since all the publicity around my book hit I have done little or no entries

I am having major contesting withdrawal!!
One of the things that has kept me busy is I am now dealing more and more with the heads of marketing for some major Canadian corporations. Which brings me to what this posting is about; I have been dealing with the Marketing Director for American Standard and their advertising agency. Seems they made a major error regarding their recent Stress Test Contest. They inadvertently announced a winner before the contest was over. I read the rules and legally American Standard was/is under no obligation to do anything but award the prize to the person that was listed as the first winner. American Standard felt really bad about the error so they are “stepping up to the plate” and giving the original winner a grand prize, then judging all the entries properly and awarding a second grand prize. I have a lot of respect for American Standard and I wanted to let everyone know that not all companies ignore the “seasoned contestor” and understand that we are their customers. If you find a contest that has a problem, let them know. Sometimes they listen.

They also told me they plan to run more contests so if you need a new bathroom, keep an eye on their website…
